IDP offers various colors of monochrome ribbons for many applications such as loyalty cards, casino player cards, warranty cards, and membership certificates where a single color is needed to personalize a pre-printed card. This is a very cost effective way to personalize cards on-demand.

IDP’s SMART printers offer a ribbons saver or “partial printing” mode that when turned on will demand the printer to use only the amount of ink necessary to print the data on the card and not advance the ribbon a full card width. In some cases, this feature can almost double the number of printed cards from a single roll of ink.
